The Project · 2023
A former fisherman’s house on the rocks of the Calella shoreline, reimagined as a home of quiet, sun-washed luxury.
The brief was to honour the humility of the original house while letting the sea and the light lead. Rather than impose, the design listens — opening the plan to the horizon, softening every threshold, and letting the Mediterranean set the palette.
Materials are tactile and honest: lime-washed walls that hold the light, warm travertine underfoot, and natural oak joinery built to feel inevitable. The result is discreet and relaxed — luxury measured in calm, not display.
01
Listen
Read the house, the rock it sits on, and the way the light moves across the day.
02
Shape
Open the plan to the sea and resolve every detail so nothing competes with the view.
03
Refine
Layer honest materials and considered styling until the space feels effortless.
